Dr Mark Lu is a seasoned medical doctor with extensive experience in family and occupational health. A graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, he returned to Singapore to begin his medical journey at a government-restructured hospital.
Driven by a special interest in occupational medicine, Dr Lu obtained a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health from the National University of Singapore in 2006. His credentials go beyond routine clinical work. In 2013, he was recognised as a Family Physician by the Ministry of Health’s Accredited Board of Family Physicians. Over the years, he has served as a designated medical examiner for the Embassies of Italy and Germany, and continues to provide these services. He has also been appointed as a designated medical examiner for Oil & Gas UK and carries out health evaluations, including Petronas Physicals.
Dr Lu also plays an active role in advancing medical ethics through his contributions to the Singapore General Hospital’s Bioethics Committee.
